When Dom started biting I flicked his cheek and said a stern NO. Eventually it worked. Nursed him until 16 mos. Bri didn't bite. Isaac is biting like crazy and, not just because of the biting, I'm not nursing much anymore, except at bedtime and in the middle of the night. He bites my arm when I'm holding him and has actually given me hickeys and bite marks...Tyler's like, who's that from?! A stern NO and then try to distract them with something else. It takes awhile, because they are learning, but they will soon respond to the first or second NO instead of the 10th, eventually! Keep it up, mamma, it does get easier!
Love

OUCH! Okay, I've not nurse any of mine 'till they had teeth but Sam once started using me as a teething toy while nursing....lovely. In an act of pure instinct I smacked his butt. He was so scared (I yelled too....it HURT) he started crying.
That was not NEARLY as bad as your issue. You have taken care of it well in my book. I don't really see any different way you could handle Ali.
Honestly, if it were me, I'd stop nursing. That's not what I'm telling you to do. Maybe weight the pro's and con's?
Have you thought about calling a lactation consultant? I'm sure they have a good idea! Kari too would have good advice.
Love you and good luck!
