Yesterday at the dentist…
9 months, 29 days, 8 hours, 35 minutes old
I walk in the door. Say, "I’m Ashley Lewis." The receptionist asks how old I am. "Twenty-three." Then says…
"Oh, you look so young. I was going to ask for you mom."
The fact that I a) appreciated that comment and b) said thank you makes me feel old. But at least I apparently don’t look a day over eighteen?

Haha, that’s like the time I was eating with Shayla at Safeway and I was talking to the barista at Starbucks. She heard Shayla call me Mommy and was like, “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe she’s yours. I thought you were the babysitter or something.” It made me laugh.

Welcome to the club! Peddlers have finaly stopped asking for my mom to come to the door. And random people have also stopped asking me if I’m running a day care
The truth is….you are young! and beautiful. Hey, this is a good thing (to look younger than you are) ’cause when your 40, people’ll think your only 30….not so bad. Love you!
