February 14th.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Now, that being said. I’ve never been a huge fan of this holiday. Single or taken, it’s always felt kind of lame. Well, from middle school on anyway. I liked it as kids. My parents always got us little v-day bags and stuff. But then all the couple-y stuff starts and it’s just kid of nauseating. So, this goes out to all the childrens still in school, forced to be there on a fabricated holiday such as today. Our thoughts are with you.
Now, that being said. I am very happy to have two special valentines today. We are celebrating by doeing exactly what we do everyday…which is perfectly special to us. And wear some red and pink. Um, and chocolate. But other than that…Happy love day to you and yours. May your love extend beyond a greeting card sanctioned date and into the rest of the year.
